The Attain C:62 Race isn't just fast, it's comfortable, too. The ideal year-round training and club bike, we've equipped it with Shimano's legendarily reliable 105 2x12 gears and matching hydraulic disc brakes, for fingertip control and safe riding in all weathers. Continental Grand Prix 32mm tyres on Newmen Advanced C.38 wheels with carbon rims offer loads of grip and a comfortable ride, and the Internal Cable Routing complements the frame's semi-aero profile and clean looks. With the comfort and control of a full carbon fork, it's the complete package.
The idea behind the Attain Race is that it combines the speed of a semi-aero road bike with the comfort of a lightweight tourer. So, for example, we fitted Shimano's slick-shifting Cues 2x11 gears and matching Cues hydraulic disc brakes for safe, powerful stopping. Then we added tenaciously grippy Continental Grand Prix tyres, in a comfortable 32mm width. And finished it off with a lightweight carbon fork and an elegant frame built for both comfort and speed, so you can broaden your horizons in whichever direction takes your fancy.
You can ride faster if you can stop faster, too. It's the reason that, for the Attain SLX, we chose Shimano's proven 105 hydraulic disc brakes, and matched them with the fast acceleration and superb grip of Continental's 32mm Grand Prix tubeless-ready tyres on Newmen Performance R.32 wheels – so you can brake later and stay in full control. Combined with the slick reliability of Shimano's iconic 105 2x12 gears, the pace of a semi-aero frame and the comfort of a full carbon fork, it makes for a bike that's as suited to a fast club run as it is to a longer weekend ride.
